Highways UK is the biggest event in our sector and if you’re attending for the first time, going it alone, or still finding your feet in highways and transport, it can feel like everyone else already knows everyone.

This programme exists to change that.

‘In Roads’ is a three-part structured
programme built around Highways UK.

  • A light-touch preparation guide before the event, so you arrive knowing who you want to meet and why
  • A relaxed, hosted networking session at HUK, with themed zones and ambassador support to make introductions
  • Post-event follow-up resources to help you turn new conversations into lasting professional relationships

It’s designed for first-timers, people new to the sector, solo attendees, and women in the industry – but anyone who wants a friendlier way into the event is welcome.

At the show, the networking event will be informal, low pressure, and built around you, with themed zones for different disciplines so you can find people who share your world straight away. Whether you’re in ITS, traffic management, highway maintenance, marketing and comms, or anything in between, there’s a corner of the room for you.

No awkward introductions, no agenda, just a welcoming space to start building the connections that matter.
